We reported a major (for us critical) issue back in September of 2013. Other users have experienced the same issue and have commented on our issue and linked to it from Stack Overflow. TeamCity inspections have not worked since upgrading to version 8.0. They worked flawlessly in versions 6 and 7, but since “upgrading” to version 8 they have never worked. The inspections run in Resharper in Visual Studio on the same code base work fine. It is just the inspection runner in TeamCity that is, and remains, totally and hopelessly broken. Version 8.1.1 is no better, and given the most recent responses we are even more discouraged.

I have and will continue to actively discourage other companies and developers from using TeamCity (or any JetBrains product, for that matter) because of the lack of support we have gotten on this major issue.
The lack of support, responsiveness, and help from JetBrains has been shockingly disappointing.
